Our story
The bag by campus should mean something.
There’s a ritual nobody writes about: the gas station before the game, the grocery run after class, the late bag of chips on the walk home.
Collective Snacks started with a simple ask. What if the potato chips already in that aisle did something for the place you bought them?
We’re building a chip brand for Power 4 campuses — SEC, Big Ten, Big 12, ACC — sold at the gas stations and grocery stores around those schools. Not a campus store exclusive. The everyday stop.
Utah is first. BYU and the University of Utah are the opening markets: two Big 12 campuses, one state, a model we can take on the road.
Founder notes
I wanted a snack brand that felt like it belonged to the campus, not just the vending machine. Potato chips are already the bag people grab. The missing piece was the giveback.
So the rule is simple. Sell near a school. Send a portion of profits — X% of profits — to that school’s local collective. The percentage stays a placeholder until we publish the real number. The promise does not.
No stolen marks. No fake store lists. We name schools in plain language and earn the shelf the same way students earn the walk: one stop at a time.
